About This Project

It is the first restaurant of the Madrid chain La Canica, later followed by La Canica de la Infanta Mercedes and Taberna La Canica. Located in Avenida de los Andes, it is characterized by offering a unique experience in its reinterpretation of traditional cuisine. In addition, they do not just try to offer an unforgettable gastronomic experience, but also worry about the smallest detail.
To carry on in this vein, and offer a unique experience to La Canica’s costumers, from Dajor we wanted to conceive a very special lamp. For a corner of the restaurant, we made two hanging lamps with a white opal glass shade and a metal structure. On the other hand, and with a very different style, on the tables are suspended three light fittings with transparent glass balls and a brash effect finishing. We also made pump-shaped, hand-blown lamps for the dining room, with an aged-brass effect metal grate. Continuing with this vintage retro style and to give the last touch of lighting in the dining area, we made some polycarbonate spheres suspended by a chain, with capacity for four lamp holders and decorated with Greek fretwork.
For the bar we manufactured an original ceiling light composed of four small lanterns that hang by an aged-brass finishing structure, and a bar with the same finishing that crosses them with two other lanterns on each end.
One of our most spectacular contributions to La Canica is the large suspension lamp made from sheets of beige opaline glass with two rectangles superimposed and hanging at different heights.
To finish, we made a collection of opal glass ceiling lights, pendants and wall sconces with relief and metal structure.
