Located on Madrid’s Gran Vía, this 1920s building was acquired in 2016 by the hotel company: Pestana + CR7 Lifstyle hotels, and renovated by the prestigious Estudio B76, to reconvert an iconic building in the reference hotel of the city.
For this project, Estudio B76 collaborate with Dajor Lighting Factory for the realization of the luminaires, lamps and some custom furniture. The interior design of the hotel exudes a “rogue”, youthful elegance, preserving the traditional moldings combined with panels of bright colors, elegant blacks and sober whites. From Dajor, we manufactured the decorative lamps according with the values and aesthetics of the integral project.
For suites and bedrooms, we custom-build these elegant mirrors with LED bulbs in a matte gold finish. They were inspired by classic Hollywood dressing rooms, these mirrors perfectly reflect the hotel’s carefree character: a “fun” elegance.
In these same bedrooms and suites, we custom-made the lighting for the desks and headboards: simple yet sophisticated wall sconces with a reader spotlight in elegant gold finish, that can be moved for adapting to the needs of each guest. From Dajor we also take care of the manufacture of lamps and luminaires in common areas. For the restaurant, we made vertical wall sconces in gold finish with two light bulbs, with a clear classical inspiration but with a “casual” touch. We finished the lighting of the restaurant by placing small cylindrical ceiling panels to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
